I wanted to look for an unusual place for us to visit for our fall little getaway, tropical place was a must since kiddies really want to swim and they truly enjoy playing with the sand. Bali and Thailand were frequent destinations for us, after going through several resorts around Asia, considering the transit length of time, reasonable flight schedules for toddlers, friendliness of the hotel environment etc, I decided that the Six Senses at Con Dao in Vietnam should be a good choice, Con Dao is 50 min by plane from Saigon.

The resort is not big, the villas are actually right next to each other but privacy is not deprived. I can’t explain how tranquil the resort was, totally untouched,  we felt like the only guests on the beach most of the time, the resort transcends this timelessness as if everything was frozen in its own world.

Breathtakingly beautiful and we are going back next year!
