As a norm, I went through Owner’s Direct website to search for an ideal villa for our summer vacation. I went through southern France and Corsica first, my first choice in Corsica never got back to my request, somehow hubby and I decided to go to Italy for a change since we’ve spent 2 summers in Southern France already. I went through about 100+ villas, going through plans, photos and descriptions to make sure we find the most suitable place for us. Through several emails exchanged with owners, I settled with Torre in Umbria, only about a month ago that the owner called and said her hubby has sold Torre to another guest so she would upgrade us to a 5 bedroom and brand new vila Caminata.

Caminata is a beautiful villa, we were the 2nd family to live in it. The setting, the design, the garden, the pool, everything suited us and we got a charming Italian mama style cook who makes the best past!

We loved hanging out in the villa, enjoying dipping in the big pool, relaxing in the garden, playing under the Umbrian sun, simply “live” in the idyllic setting.
