I was looking for a nearby resort for a short getaway before school starts as well as to spend my birthday outside Taiwan, I wanted to avoid Bali since we have been there quite a few times already, knowing the fact that most SouthEast Asian islands are in raining season makes it quite hard to decide our destination.  Finally learned that Koh Samui is in its dry season and so I continued with the booking while exchanging tweets with their marketing department in Thailand.

Our ocean view villa was nicely located right in the middle of the resort beach, having a wonderful view of the blue in the sky and the sand on the ground! Picture perfect!

The resort is super kids friendly with a full day of program nicely planned out in the kids club, at the beach and even at the spa, movie watching with popcorn, crab catching, seashell bracelet making, hair braiding, soccer by the beach, coconut painting etc. and it goes on and on.

The hotel surprised me with many small gestures on my birthday, the arrival of buggy saying happy birthday while picking us up, birthday greetings from the gift shop to all the waitresses at the restaurant, I got two birthday cakes, rose buds scattered in our room with candle throughout our villa after we finished dinner, I can’t thank them enough for all the kind arrangements, it was an unforgettable birthday indeed!
