MaKau Ecological Park is an ecological project composed of Minchih Forest Recreation Area, Cilan Forest Resort and the Divine Trees Park. The entire Park is a nature lover paradise 1500 m above sea level.

Cilan is located on Yilan branch of the Northern Cross Island highway and you get a panoramic view of the mountains and rivers.  There are forest trails full of cherry and apricot blossoms, a perfect place to indulge oneself in the forest bath. Cilan resort offers regular rooms, wooden cabins and cottages in the forest, a perfect getaway from the city.

The Divine Tree Park has over hundreds of cypresses and yellow cypresses throughout and the oldest giant tree is over 2500 years old, each tree is named after a historical figure in Chinese history which gives a literary touch to its ambiance.
