On the 22nd November 2012 Koh Chang, Thailand got a new wreck!

HTMS Chang was placed to make an artificial reef for scuba diving and marine life! This is the biggest wreck in Thailand with a length of 100 meters and the top part of the antenna is just 40cm below the surface while the ship is sitting at the bottom in 30m of sea water.

It was built for the US Navy during WWII , laid down in 1944, and served during the Korean War, it continued to serve as the USS Lincoln County until it was decommissioned and transferred to the Royal Thai Navy in 1962.

We were in the water for 45 min., and went all the way down to 27.4 depth with 15m visibility. It was an awesome experience, I cant wait for my next wreck dive!
