It was a last minute trip that we decided to go to Phuket Yao Noi. Originally I booked another resort in Thailand, then decided to try something new in our travels so I went ahead to survey Vietnam and other Thailand places, unfortunately with the limited flights between Taiwan and these places, we would need to spend an extra night in either HCM or Hanoi or BKK for further connections into the resorts I chose, it’s a short break and we just want to get to the resort and chill so I chose the Four Seasons in Chiang Mai first as the girls mentioned about wanting to go to the elephant camp and experience, however after everything was confirmed, hubby said to me that he feels really tired, let’s go to a beach and do nothing so I had to survey again and the only thing that came up and is within all the criteria was this Six Sense Yao Noi resort.
The transfer took a day, we flew from Taipei to BKK then onwards with domestic flight to Phuket before another 40 min boat ride to Yao Noi but quite standard if you wish to go to any island untouched.
The resort is packed with different activities including movie night by the beach, it has several restaurants as well to satisfy your palate if fine food is a concern.
Each villa is assigned with a butler who takes care of everything for you, a trend and style in the Six Senses resort which is now completely independent from its previous owners the Soneva Group
Ice cream, chocolates all you can eat in the rooms, kids made some brownies and cookies while hubby and I indulged ourselves in the spa, the spa was absolutely amazing, the first time I really enjoy a deep pressure massage instead of just having oil poured on my body. The spa head was a tennis player turned physical therapist from the US but originally from Spain, he really trained the staff with deep tissue, hubby and I were very happy with the treatments
We chilled mostly by the big pool on the top of the hill and spent a consider amount of time in the villa pool as well, we walked on the beach to pick the little stones as our tradition and enjoyed the breeze and sunshine, there is nothing more serene they laying under the sun with the waves echoing in your ears.
The girls were happy and that’s all it matters.
