It’s that time of the year when I take out our ski outfits, get the gears ready for packing! Its time for our 2 week annual ski vacation to Verbier and we are all excited, kids have been asking when are we going skiing for the past few weeks.
We booked the same cozy chalet located in the heart of the town where all the restaurants are within 10 min walk and only 5 min. walk to the ski lifts.
Our chalet cook Izzy is a sweetheart and the girls love their baby-sitter Tiffany, we were very lucky to have them and hopefully to see them again next year.
Again, we have been lucky with the weather, it snowed a few times, got some powder snow, had 2 days of bad visibilities, other than that, the sun smiled for many days although the temperature dropped to around minus 10.
We were not able to put the kids in group lessons this season due to lack of children. Sabrina ended up having private lessons with Martina while Chloe had lessons with Laurie and Maddy. Both girls had a big break through in skiing and did very well on the slope.
Victor and I continued our cruising and touring with Remy, one of the most experienced instructors in Verbier. We skied at a few new places, 2 weeks simply wasn’t enough to explore the mountains. I was hoping to have 3 weeks on the slope, the serenity is simply amazing here.
